June was a very interesting month in the AL. NY started with a slight lead and went into a tailspin (for them) while Chicago was just rolling along in 2nd and played at a slightly better pace going 20-9 and watched the Yankees sink below them by going 15-14. Cleveland is keeping it interesting by matching the Yankees record and are 3 games behind 2nd place.
I tried playing with the Orioles to see why they are so far off their actual season pace (7 games) but they were too boring to stay with so I reverted to NY and Chicago. The Yankees and White Sox have a lot of interesting players and possibilities so I will stick with them for the balance of the season. Chicago can't be too far off their pennant winning 1959 season and have a lot more balanced team than the Yankees.
